Shroom and Gloom community: Discord, Reddit and Steam
There are four places to talk about Shroom and Gloom, and they are not equal. One of them is where you can read the developers answering players in public.

Where the developers actually answer
The Steam discussions are the place with a public track record. In the first days of Early Access, Team Lazerbeam replied there about the Janitor’s difficulty, achievements not unlocking (in Steam discussion: Achievements bugged?, 13 September 2026), controller support (in Steam discussion: Controller support please!, 13 September 2026) and characters walking on their own. The store page says as much about their habits: “We love chatting to people directly, reading any Steam reviews, and talking about aspects of the game in Steam discussions.” from the Early Access notes on Shroom and Gloom on the Steam store, 10 September 2026
| You want to | Go to | Why |
|---|---|---|
| Report a bug | The pinned bug-report post in the Steam discussions, or Discord | Both are named in the pinned FAQ (in Steam discussion: FAQs here!!, 10 September 2026) |
| Help fix a hardware problem | Discord, with your player logs | “If anyone would like to join us over on our Discord to share some extra context (specifically player logs) that would be very helpful.” Team Lazerbeam, in Steam discussion: Auto-Walk, 22 June 2026 |
| Give balance or character feedback | A Steam discussion thread | The developers asked for it in the Janitor thread: “If you (or anyone else in the community) have any specific thoughts on The Janitor or The Facility we would love to hear them.” in Steam discussion: Love the game, hate the janitor, 11 September 2026 |
| Shape the roadmap | A Steam review, and Discord | The launch post asks players to leave a review and “become a part of our lovely Discord to join future discussions about how we can continue to make Shroom and Gloom the best game it can be.” in Steam announcement: Shroom and Gloom explodes into Early Access!, 10 September 2026 |
| Report a bug in Chinese | The Chinese-language bug report post in the Steam discussions | A post from a developer account links a bug report form for Chinese players (in Steam discussion: 中文玩家Bug反馈说明, 11 September 2026) |
Before you post, check whether the problem is already known. The Early Access page lists the fixes the developers have promised, and controller support and achievements cover the two most common trouble spots in detail.
